What is Meditation? The Myths and Truths Spread in the Name of Meditation

Meditation is becoming as popular today as the internet was in the year 2000. Nobody knew what the internet was, but people made up various things, and today we can see what the internet is.

Similarly, meditation is something everyone knows about only as much as a person in the 1800s knew about the internet. Everyone is making up their own version of it. Nobody really knows, but everyone is saying something or the other—that meditation is this, meditation is that; but nobody knows the truth, everyone is just passing on lies.

The Line System and the Game of Misinformation

This is like a long line of 10 people. The person standing at the very front wants to pass something to the very end, so instead of saying it directly, they tell the second person. And as the message reaches the last person, the first person has no clue that their message has completely changed. Something else was said, and something entirely

different reached the end.

Here, the fault is not of the person standing at the front; the fault is of the "system." Where people are standing who understand nothing, yet are bent on pushing their own thoughts forward. Actually, these 8 people standing in the line don't want to understand anything; they just want to form an opinion without understanding. But what can we do, it's a system so we have to follow it. If we stop following this system, how will we get the knowledge of the person standing at the front?

How Does Nectar Turn Into Poison?

This is like the person at the front giving nectar in a bowl, but by the time it reaches us, it turns into poison, and we drink it, ruining our health, and then blame that person! So tell me, whose fault is it really—that person's or ours, because we are listening to others instead of listening directly to the person

standing at the front?
